Usage Instructions
Preparation: 10 mins. Cook: 60 mins. Serves: 6 Recipe Ingredients 1kg Potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced 1 Brown Onion (160g), peeled and diced 4 Lean Bacon Rashers (120g), diced 1 cup light Thickened Cream (250mL) 1 MasterFoods Creamy Herb & Garlic Potato Bake Recipe Base 1 cup Shredded Cheese (130g) Cooking instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 200°C (Conventional). 2. Layer half the potatoes in a medium sized baking dish and top with half the bacon and onion. 3. Layer remaining potatoes, bacon and onion. 4. Combine cream and Recipe Base in a jug, and pour over potatoes, onion and bacon. 5. Cover dish with aluminium foil and bake for 45 minutes. 6. Carefully remove from the oven and remove foil. Top with cheese and bake uncovered for a further 15 minutes or until potatoes are soft and cheese is golden brown. 7. Serve as a side dish. For Something Different: For a quicker cook time, microwave complete dish uncovered for 20 minutes before baking in the oven uncovered for 25 minutes.
